Joanna Quinn’s Brittania

Quinn won several awards for animation in the past. Brittania is a splendid satire on British imperialism. It tracks the rise & fall of the bulldog, which becomes Queen Victoria through metamorphosis. The British greed for wealth and power, in this film, plunders the hopes and fortunes of India and Africa. Awesome how this animation shows East India Company’s tea trade growing into a despotic rule! The best part is that England’s notorious past is captured in 5 mins through this clip.
